Upcoming Events!

Body Language Workshop: Wednesday 5/9 @8p-9p

This *FREE* workshop is for humans only–bring the whole family! For humans to effectively communicate, we’ve devised an immense vocabulary, but dogs are limited to ‘words’ formed by their body parts. Understanding what your dog is saying is extremely important to prevent bites, fights, and miscommunications!

Canine Gym Class: Will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6p-7p.

This class is more than a workout routine or an obedience class. It’s Fun. Dog. Fitness. The combination of physical and mental exercise is absolutely critical to a well-balanced dog. **You’re welcome to join this class if you’re currently enrolled with us in a Beginner II level obedience class and above, or have your instructor’s permission. Canine Gym counts as one class out of your package**

Puppy Play Group: Will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 6p-6:45p

A healthy alternative to a dog park! You’ll learn the difference between good play, not so good play, and all the steps in between. We divide puppies so that everyone is playing in their proper “weight class”. All puppies under 5 months old are welcome. Fee $25.

**There will be no Multiple Dog Household Workshop in May**

If you are not on Facebook and would like to register for one of these events please email

Memorial Day Weekend: The school will be CLOSED for the holiday May 26-May 28

NEW Collar Safety Policy

As of May 31st we’re now be requiring ALL playcare dogs to be wearing a martingale collar when they’re in our facility/in our care.

Every day, dogs are brought in on loose fitting collars that they could easily back out of, and we don’t want that to happen to you in the parking lot, or us when we take them out on a walk. We love your dogs as if they were ours, and we pride ourselves in putting the dog’s safety above all else!

If you don’t have a martingale already, we sell them at the school for $15. Let us know if you’d like us to set your dog up with one and we’re happy to do it.

If you’d rather provide your own martingale collar, please make sure it’s ON your dog as you come in for play care. This includes dogs who wear prong collars or harnesses, because for safety reasons, we don’t let any dog wear those while in a crate, an exercise pen, or while in play groups.

Any dog not wearing a martingale collar will be fitted for one, and your account will be charged $15.00.

***The new Collar Safety Policy goes into effect on May 31st***

If you have questions about this, please email Stef at

If you would like to purchase your own martingale here are a few of our favorites, as well an option if you want to pre-pay for a martingale from the school:

Class Pack Price

Over the past 8 years, we’ve grown so much, and our enthusiasm for improving what we do has never been stronger.
We’re working (at this very minute) to bring you even more exciting options to help you have the dog you’ve always wanted, *and* have more fun than you thought was possible in the process!

As exciting as our progress is, we’re also managing higher operating expenses for facilities, hiring new and well-trained team members, and purchasing new equipment.

Because of that, we’re going to *minimally* increase the class package price to allow us to continue to offer you all of our amazing programs, as well as help us expand even more. We’re committed to creating the most cutting edge and innovative programs possible for you and your dogs. To that point, we have some surprises in store for you starting this fall!

This price increase is small ($5 per class), and will go into effect on June 1st. Class packs will now be $270 for 6 classes and the Student Starter Package will be $290. ALL other prices will remain the same.

Each and every day you and your dogs inspire us, and we’re extremely committed to our mission of providing you and your dog with excellence in everything we do.

tricks class!

Every Monday night at 8pm!

Teaching your dog tricks is a great way to improve your training techniques, AND continue to build a great relationship with your dog. Tricks class is great for dogs of any age because it burns physical and mental energy. In this class, you’ll break down challenging tricks into achievable, smaller tasks before putting them together into a sequence. We’ll be working on all the classic tricks including spin, sit pretty, roll over, take a nap as well as more complex ones like weaving between your legs, moving sideways, jumping over your arm, and more!

Stacey will be teaching this class and because she’s an AKC Tricks judge, you can earn your title in class! Treats may be used during the test to reward your dog.
