Halloween is creeping up on us.
This is the time of year when even the most reserved person considers dressing his or her dog up for the holiday!
I understand, because my kids used to dress their dogs up, too. The fact that their dogs LOVED the attention they received from “doggie dress up”, combined with minimal costumes that were “dress rehearsed” weeks before the event, made for a good time for all. Back to School = Endless running of errands!
I think that we can (finally) officially declare: SUMMER IS HERE!! No more homework, projects (we’ll not miss the late night runs to Staples for pasteboard…), or drop off/pick ups from school. And while that seems like a lot of time gained back, the truth is that sometimes summer is even busier than the school year. Mostly in fun ways, but busy nonetheless. Because we think that putting “Train the dog” at the bottom of your To Do list is never a good idea (because your dog is *always* learning – even things you don’t want him to!), we’ve put together some ways to help you get the training in that your dog needs, even when you’re short on time:
This is absolutely one of my favorite months. The kids are out of school soon, daylight is with us for a much longer time, and the cold weather should be officially behind us. Of course, June is also a time to celebrate Fathers and high-school graduates!
With summer comes a whole host of things to be aware of when it comes to taking care of your dogs.
